Honda Long Life Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (blue)
OL999-9011
10.2 US qt (9.7 L) complete system
Type 2 is premixed 50/50 — do not dilute. A radiator drain is only a partial fill (~3–4 qt). A full refresh takes a thermostat-housing drain or several drain-and-fills. Never mix with green conventional coolant or Honda Type 1.

Why it matters
The J35 aluminum block and the heater core in a minivan live on the correct silicate-free Honda coolant. Mixing “universal green” coolant gels and clogs the radiator.
Shop notes
Check the reserve tank when cold. The October 2, 2026 Valvoline flush left their yellow Multi-Vehicle 50/50 in the van, not Honda blue. Top off with that same yellow.
Do not pour Honda Type 2 or Zerex Asian Blue on top of the yellow. They are different inhibitor packages.
At the next full coolant service, flush back to Honda Type 2 or Zerex Asian Blue. A radiator drain alone does not empty the heater core.
